This specimen is classified as medium sized. The primary leaf coloration is mid-green with distinct pink/red edging. In cooler months, new growth exhibits a creamy pink flush which subsequently darkens to a bright mid-pink as the leaves mature. Petioles are marked with bright pink coloration. The leaves are of the Kahili type; the margins of the rather long leaves display moderate undulation, and the outer edges typically turn upwards. The overall foliage is held in an arching manner.

Prefers a well-lit situation offering the plant protection from the direct sun.
