Growing Requirements
Best results are obtained when the plant is given a well-lit situation offering protection from the hot sun.
Characteristics
Colour is a mid to dark green. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with lavender to a soft rose pink. The colour darkens as the leaves mature. The petioles are edged with pink. Leaves are miniature in size and shape. The margins of the rather pointed leaves have slight to moderate undulation. Sections of the outer edges of some leaves may roll under. The tips usually turn down. Small to medium in height. Very hardy.
