Growing Requirements

Prefers a well-lit situation which offers the plant good light with protection from the hot sun.

Characteristics

Mid green edged with red. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with shades of bright pink. The colour darkens as the leaves mature. The petioles are marked with bright pink/red. The midribs may be marked with dark red. The margins of the rather long leaves are slightly undulated. The outer edges of some leaves may roll under. The tips usually turn down. The petioles are fairly long.
