Growing Requirements
Prefers a well-lit situation offering the plant protection from the hot sun.
Characteristics
Dark green flushed with dark red to maroon. In bright light the leaves may be all maroon. The margins are marked with red. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with shades bright pink to red. The colour darkens as the leaves mature. The petioles are marked with red. he margins of the medium size leaves are moderately to broadly undulated. The outer edges of some leaves roll in towards the midrib (more obvious on the newer growth). The tips of some leaves may turn up, while on other leaves they turn down.
