Growing Requirements

Requires protection from any hot sun. Shadehouse conditions are ideal.

Characteristics

Dark green edged with purple. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed soft purple with some tinges of white. The colour darkens as the leaves mature. The petioles are marked with purple. The margins of the rather long leaves are slightly to moderately undulated. The tips may turn down. The newer foliage is held fairly erect.
