Growing Requirements

Prefers a well-lit situation offering the plant protection from the direct sun.

Characteristics

Mid green to red (more red in good light). The margins are edged with pink/red. The tips of the leaves are often coloured with a bright pink/red. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with shades of mid pink. The colour darkens as the leaves mature. The petioles are marked with a bright pinkish red. The margins of the leaves are moderately to broadly undulated and may turn up slightly. The outer edges of some of the foliage may roll down. The midrib is well defined.
