Growing Requirements
Prefers a situation offering the plant some protection from the hot sun.
Characteristics
Maroon edged with bright pink to red. In the cooler months, the new growth is flushed with a bright hot pink. The colour darkens as the leaves mature. The petioles are marked with pink/red. The margins of the medium to large leaves are slightly to broadly undulated. Sections of the outer edges of some leaves may roll down (more obvious on the newer growth). The tips usually turn down.
