Requires protection from any hot sun. Shadehouse conditions are ideal.
Characteristics
Dark green edged with purple. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with shades of soft purple. The colour darkens to a rich purple as the leaves mature. The petioles are marked with purple. The margins of the medium size leaves are slightly to moderately undulated. The tips usually turn down.
