Growing Requirements

Prefers a well-lit situation offering the plant some protection from the hot sun.

Characteristics

Dark red edged with pink/red. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed a bright mid pink. As the leaves mature the colour darkens to a bright red washed with darker red. The petioles are marked with pink/red. The margins of the small to medium size leaves are moderately to broadly undulated. The very tips are usually elongated. The outer edges may cup up.
