Growing Requirements

Prefers a well-lit situation offering the plant some protection from the hot sun.

Characteristics

Colour : Dark green to maroon (more maroon in good light) finely edged with red. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with pink/red. The petioles are marked with red. The margins of the leaves are slightly undulated. There is some creasing on the upper surace of the leaf-blade. The tips usually turn down.
