Growing Requirements

Will tolerate full sun but best results are obtained when the plant is given some protection.

Characteristics

The new growth is a reddish black. The colour darkens, as the leaves mature, to pure black. Possibly the blackest of the 'black' cultivars. The margins of the narrow leaves are moderately undulated. The outer edges usually turn up forming a vee. The foliage is held in an arching manner.
