Growing Requirements

Prefers a well-lit situation offering the plant protection from the hot sun.

Characteristics

Shiny maroon finely edged with red. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with bright red. The margins of the large rather floppy leaves are moderately undulated. They are rather thick in texture. There may be some creasing on the upper surface of the leaf blade. The foliage is held in an arching fashion.
