Growing Requirements

Requires a well-lit situation offering the plant protection from any hot sun. More shade tolerant than many other cultivars.

Characteristics

Bronze green, broadly edged with bright orange. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with shades of orange. The colour darkens as the leaves mature. The petioles are marked with orange.On juvenile plants, the margins may be slightly to moderately wavy. As the plant matures the margins have moderate to broad undulation. The outer edges usually cup up (most noticeable on the younger growth).N.B. The margins of the leaves appear to have more undulation in areas which experience mild winters. Perhaps this is caused by the faster rate of growth in those areas.
