Growing Requirements

Prefers a well-lit situation offering the plant protection form the hot sun.

Characteristics

Mid green, heavily flushed with salmon pink (usually radiating out from the midrib to the tip of the leaves). In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with a soft salmon pink. The colour darkens as the leaves mature. The petioles are marked with pink. The margins of the medium size leaves are broadly undulated. The tips may turn down. Some of the foliage may have a twisted appearance.

History
