Growing Requirements

Prefers a well-lit situation offering the plant protection from the hot sun.

Characteristics

Dark maroon edged with red. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with a bright pinkish red. The petioles are marked with pink/red. The margins of the medium size leaves are moderately to broadly undulated. Sections of the outer margins may cup up slightly (more obvious on the newer growth). The tips usually turn down.
