Characteristics

The older foliage is a dark green with reddish overtones. The new growth is a mid green. The petioles are red. The long rather narrow leaves are broadly undulated. The leaves unlike other cordyline do not spiral around the main stem, instead they are held rather erect in opposite planes forming a fan shape.
