Prefers a situation offering the plant some protection from the hot sun.

Characteristics

Red edged with bright red. The petioles are marked with red. The margins of the long leaves are broadly undulated. Sections of the margins of some leaves turn up, while on other leaves the edges roll down. The foliage is carried fairly erect and may have a twisted appearance.
