Prefers a well-lit situation offering the plant protection from the hot sun.

Characteristics

Mid to Olive green with reddish overtones. The margins are finely edged in red. The petioles are marked with red. The margins of the large thick leaves are slightly undulated. As the plant matures the wide petioles become profoundly rippled along the inner edges (this is a distinctive characteristic of this cultivar). A strong growing plant.

History

This cultivar is also known as Oasis in some areas of Queensland (Australia).
