Characteristics

Mid green broadly edged with orange. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with shades of orange. The colour darkens as the leaves mature. The petioles are marked with orange. The 'bone' is soft orange on the newer leaves and a bright orange on the older foliage. The margins of the rather large leaves are slightly to broadly undulated. Sections of the outer margins of some leaves may roll under. There is usually some creasing on the upper surface of the leaves. 'Orange Icicle' is a bone cordyline.
