Growing Requirements

Prefers a well-lit situation offering the plant protection from the hot sun.

Characteristics

Mid green flushed with dark red. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with shades of pink. The colour darkens as the leaves mature. The petioles are marked with pink/red. The margins of the large leaves are moderately to broadly undulated. Sections of the outer edges of some leaves may turn up while on others they may roll down. The tips usually turn down. There is often some creasing on the upper surface of the leaves.
