Growing Requirements

Requires a well-lit situation offering the plant protection from the hot sun.

Characteristics

Mid green, edged pink/red and flushed with red. The mid rib and veins are tinged with red. In the cooler months the new growth is pink, aging to a bright almost carmine pink. The petioles are reddish pink. The margins of the medium size leaves are slightly to moderately undulated. The tips usually turn down. The rather thick textured foliage is carried in an arching manner.
