Growing Requirements

Requires a well-lit situation offering the plant protection from the hot sun. Prefers a warmer climate. It may burn badly in areas which experience cold winters.

Characteristics

Mid green edged pink. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with mauve/pink. The colour darkens to mid pink as the leaves mature. The petioles are marked with pink.

In some areas the winter colouring may change from mauve/pink to mid pink during the season. The medium size leaves are slightly to moderately undulated. The tips tend to turn down.
