Growing Requirements

Prefers a well-lit situation offering the plant protection from the hot sun.

Characteristics

Light to mid green edged with dark pink/red. The midrib is usually marked with red. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed a combination of pinks and cream. The colour darkens as the leaves mature. The petioles are marked with pink. The margins of the medium size leaves are slightly undulated. The tips turn down. The foliage is held in a distinct spiral fashion around the stem. Low to medium. Can be slow growing in some areas.
