Characteristics

Shiny mid green, frequently flushed with dark red, and edged with dark pink. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with soft pink to mid pink. The colour darkens as the leaves mature. The petioles are edged with dark pink. The winter colouring may change from light pink to mid pink during the season. The colouring is also affected by the amount of light the plant receives. The margins of the medium size leaves are broadly undulated. The tips roll down and under. The foliage is held in an attractive arching fashion.
