Characteristics

Red with darker overtones. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with bright pink/red. The petioles are marked with bright red. The margins of the medium size leaves are moderately undulated. The outer edges may roll up (more obvious on the younger growth).

History

Known as 'Pra u-ma Diamond' in Thailand. Some collectors believe the plant sold in Australia as 'Prince Albert' is not the same as the Hawaiian cultivar of that name.
