Growing Requirements
Requires protection from the hot sun. Like most purples it does very well in a shadehouse situation.
Characteristics
Dark green edged with purple. In the cooler months of the year the new growth is purple, with traces of white. As the leaves mature they change to green and deep purple. The petioles are marked with purple. The margins of the medium size leaves are slightly to broadly undulated. The tips usually turn down.
