Hi can anyone tell me if very mature Australis cuttings take root? Is there a particular proceedure? At the mo Planted in black soil Upper Hunter NSW. Cheers WH

Australis is very touchy. You can cut the top off and it will re-shoot and grow without a problem. To try and propagate from the top you have cut off is almost impossible. The best way to propagate from Australis is from the new shoots that grow from the base. Check out our FAQ section for more info on this.
Ollie,
Propagating from cane is only able to be done in our fruticosa (Ti) cultivars, not the Australis varieties.
