Growing Requirements

Prefers a well-lit situation offering the plant protection from hot sun or strong winds.

Characteristics

Colour is mid green to red, edged with mid pink. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with soft pink. The colour darkens as the leaves mature. The petioles are marked with pink. leaves are intermediate. The margins of the large, somewhat floppy leaves, are slightly to broadly undulated. Sections of the outer edges of some leaves roll under. The petioles are fairly long. Medium to tall growth habit.
