Growing Requirements

Will tolerate full sun but best results are obtained when the plant is given some protection.

Characteristics

Red to maroon (more red in full sun). In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with bright pink to red. The colour darkens as the leaves mature. The petioles are marked with pink/red. The margins of the small pointed leaves are moderately undulated. Sections of the outer edges of some leaves turn down. There may be some ridging on the upper surface. The tips of some leaves have a distinct twist. Very Compact
