Growing Requirements
Prefers a well-lit situation offering the plant some protection from the hot sun.
Characteristics
Red to maroon edged with pink/red. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with a bright pinkish red. The petioles are marked with pink/red. The margins of the rather small leaves are slightly undulated. The newer growth is held fairly erect.
History
Named by Roy Shigenaga. N.B. Not to be confused with the Hawaiian bred cultivar 'Kalani Koa'.
