Characteristics

Mid green, heavily variegated with shades of pink, red and lime green. The outer edges of the leaves are usually marked with red. The petioles are marked with pink/red. The margins of the small to medium size leaves are moderately undulated. The outer edges towards the tip may turn under.

History

Appeared during Tissue Culture of 'Kiwi'. The plant was patented by Reginald Deroose and named after one of his daughters. The English translation for 'Katrijin' is 'Katherine'.
