Growing Requirements

Will tolerate full sun but best results are obtained when the plant is given some protection.

Characteristics

Mid green to red overlaid and edged and marked with pink. The amount of markings on the leaves may vary considerably from plant to plant (the best clones are considered to be those with the most markings). The midrib is usually pink. The new growth is mid green with creamy/white to yellowish markings and margins. The petioles are marked with pink. Intermediate. The large leaves are flat with slight to moderate undulation of the margins. There is often some creasing on the upper surface of the leaf blade. The petioles are rather long.
