Growing Requirements

Prefers a well-lit situation offering the plant protection from the hot sun.

Characteristics

Mid green with dark red overtones. The margins are edged with red. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with bright dark red/maroon. The petioles are marked with red. The margins of the medium size leaves are moderately to broadly undulated. The leaves may cup up. The tips usually turn down. The leaves are held fairly erect.
