Growing Requirements

Prefers a well-lit situation offering the plant protection from the hot sun.

Characteristics

Mid green, sometimes suffused with red. The margins are edged with pink. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with shades of soft to mid pink. The colour darkens to pinkish red with dark red overtones as the leaves mature. The petioles are marked with pink. The margins of the medium size leaves are slightly undulated. On some of the newer growth the outer edges may turn down but flatten out with age. The tips usually turn down.
