Growing Requirements

Prefers a well-lit situation offering the plant protection from the hot sun.

Characteristics

Mid green overlaid with red and edged with mid pink. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with bright rose pink. The colouring changes to pink with dark overtones as the leaves mature. The petioles are marked with bright pink. Intermediate. The margins of the medium size leaves are moderately undulated (more obvious on the newer growth). The outer margins may turn up slightly. On some leaves, the margins towards the leaf tip may roll under. The tips usually turn down. The foliage is held fairly erect.
