Growing Requirements

Will tolerate a lot of sun but best results are obtained when the plant is given some protection.

Characteristics

Shiny dark green heavily flushed with dark red (more red in bright light). In the cooler months the new growth may flush burgundy red. The petioles are marked with red. The margins of the medium size leaves are broadly undulated. The outer edges may turn up (most obvious on the newer growth). The tips usually turn down. The texture is rather thick.
