Growing Requirements
Prefers a well-lit situation offering protection from the hot sun.
Characteristics
Dark green to maroon (more maroon in good light), edged with pink/red. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with a bright pinkish red. The petioles are marked with pink/red. The margins of the medium size leaves are moderately to broadly undulated. The tips usually turn up on the newer growth before turning down as the leaf matures.
