Growing Requirements

Tolerates full sun but best results are obtained when the plant is given some protection.

Characteristics

A reddish black with bright red flashing towards the midrib of all the leaves. The newest growth is green with a white to pale red flash. The margins of the large leaves are slightly undulated. Usually the newer growth is held fairly erect.
