Tolerates full sun but best results are obtained when the plant is given some protection.

Characteristics

The newest growth is green with a white to pale red flash in the centre of the leaf blade As the leaves mature they turn a reddish black with a bright red flash. The oldest leaves eventually lose the red flash of colour and are all reddish black. The margins of the large leaves are slightly undulated.
