Growing Requirements

Prefers a well-lit situation offering the plant protection from the hot sun.

Characteristics

Mid green with maroon overtones and edged with dark pink. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with shades of soft to mid pink. The colour darkens as the leaves mature. The petioles are marked with dark pink. The margins of the medium size leaves are slightly to broadly undulated. The tips usually turn down on the newest growth but may turn up on semi-mature leaves before turning down again when the leaves reach maturity.
