Prefers a well-lit situation offering the plant some protection from the hot sun.
Characteristics
Dark red, edged with pink/red. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed bright pink to red. The petioles are edged with dark pinkThe margins of the large leaves are moderately undulated. The outer edges may turn up (more noticeable on the newer growth). The tips of the older leaves usually turn down.
