Growing Requirements

Requires a well-lit situation offering the plant protection from the hot sun.

Characteristics

Mid green, edged mid pink. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed with shades of pink and cream. The colour darkens to a rouge pink as the leaves mature. The margins of the very large floppy leaves are slightly undulated. The edges towards the leaf tip may roll under. The petioles are rather short and broad. Better known in Australia as 'Pink Sensation'
