Growing Requirements

Prefers a well-lit situation offering the plant protection from the direct sun.

Characteristics

Mid to dark green, finely edged with red. In the growing months the leaves are marked with a dull, almost indistinct dark red. In the cooler months the colour of the new growth changes to white splashed with bright pink/red. Petioles are marked white with a fine red line on the inner edges. The margins of the medium size leaves are slightly undulated. The outer edges cup up (more obvious on the newer growth). The tips usually turn down. Whislt it produces flowers and seed, it is seldom.
