Requires protection from any direct sun. Shadehouse conditions are ideal.
Characteristics
Dark green, edged purple. In the cooler months the newest growth is mottled with soft purple and white. The colour quickly changes to a bright dark purple. The petioles are edged with purple. The margins of the medium size leaves are slightly undulated. The outer edges of the newer growth turn up. The foliage is held stiffly erect. The fruit is purple/red.
