Growing Requirements

Requires protection from any direct sun. Performs well in shadehouse conditions (70% green or black shadecloth is ideal).

Characteristics

Mid to dark green, edged with purple. In the cooler months the new growth is flushed a soft purple mottled with tinges of white. As the leaves mature, the colour darkens to a bright deep purple with traces of white. The petioles are marked with purple. The margins of the small to medium sized leaves are slightly undulated. The outer edges of the younger growth may turn up slightly.
