Growing Requirements

Prefers a well-lit situation offering the plant protection from the hot sun.

Characteristics

Mid to dark green with reddish overtones and edged dark pink to red. In the cooler months, the new growth is usually flushed with shades of mid pink. However at times during the season it may be flushed with shades of lavender to light purple. As the leaf ages the colour changes to a dark pink/red. The petioles are marked with bright pink. Intermediate/Juno. The Margins of the large leaves are moderately undulated. The outer edges may turn up slightly.
