Growing Requirements

Prefers a well-lit situation offering the plant protection from the hot sun.

Characteristics

Mid green to dark red (more red in good light) edged with red. During the cooler months the new growth is flushed with pink to a bright pinkish red. The petioles are marked with red. The margins of the medium size leaves are broadly undulated. The outer edges usually cup up (more obvious on the newer growth).
